Youth Equine Liberty Organization
The Youth Equine Liberty Organization (YELO) is a youth and youth at heart liberty organization dedicated to connecting members around the world through liberty horsemanship. They provide in-person and virtual competitions, educational content and opportunities, a supportive community of like minded individuals, and more. Their mission is to improve the life of horses and people around the world through liberty.
Gamilah Unbridled provides scholarships to kids in need and helps bring rescue horses into the program. "We believe horses heal people better than people heal people."
Providing Access
Gamilah Unbridled works to provide access to horses & liberty for kids who otherwise might not be able. We help provide discounted and no-cost memberships to approved non-profits. Stay tuned for more details!
Connecting Rescue Horses
Gamilah Unbridled has a passion to show that rescue horses can be phenomenal partners. They have completed several programs focused on showing the power of liberty and how it can transform some of the most challenging horses.

Why Rescues?
Helping Non-Ridden Horses Find Homes
We have found there are many people who want to learn liberty because they either don not want to or cannot ride.

We have also found there are many horses, especially at rescues, that cannot be ridden due to a variety of reasons. Often, these horses are viewed as "less than" because they cannot be riding partners. We feel that non-ridden horses have just as much talent and purpose as ridden horses.

By partnering with YELO, we hope to give these horses the opportunity to showcase their unique abilities through liberty. Ultimately, helping to find forever homes for more of these horses.
The Connection Between Kids and Rescues
Gamilah Unbridled works to provide access to horses and liberty to underprivileged kids through rescue horses.

Rescues have often been through a lot of challenges in life, just like some people. Youth who have been through struggles can often connect and relate to the rescue horses on a deeper level, because they could have gone through similar experiences.

We always say, horses heal people, better than people heal people. We strive to give these horses and kids the opportunity to connect and heal with each other.
Rescue Horses Are Not "Less Than"
Society often devalues rescues as not as talented and capable because they are many times not "well" bred, and raised horses with papers.

We wholeheartedly disagree. We've worked with some of the most challenging rescues horses in the country and have watched them transform into phenomenal riding and liberty partners.

We have a team of rescue horses that work together at liberty. Our goal is to showcase how capable these horse are and help more people look to rescues when they're ready for an equine partner.
